Heatec Serpentine Heaters

Overview

Heatec Serpentine Heaters are process or thermal fluid heaters. They can be used for many of the same applications our Heatec HCI Heaters are used. The main difference is the in the coils. Serpentine heaters use a series of serpentine style coils whereas the HCI heaters use a helical coil. Serpentine heaters can be built to API (American Petroleum Institute) recommendations. Serpentine heaters have a modular design. This allows larger heaters, typically anything over 80 million BTU/hr, to be shipped in individual pieces and field assembled.

Coils are hydro tested before leaving the factory.
