Grizzly Scalping Screens

Overview

Featuring a rugged, heavy-duty design, Astec inclined grizzly scalping screens can easily handle the high tonnage and lump size required at large primary crushing stations.

Utilizing the TL vibrator mechanism, both single- and dual-shaft models are available. Deep section grizzly bars allow up to 6" nominal spacing without interference from cross members.  Astec inclined grizzly scalping screens are reliable and low maintenance with proven performance.

Applications

  • Aggregates

    There are two main classes of aggregates: natural and manufactured. Deleterious material needs to be removed from both classes of aggregates. Processing these materials typically requires various steps including reduction and sizing and also may include dewatering and sorting. Producers can use a variety of crushing, screening, dewatering and conveying equipment to meet their desired specifications.
