Mansfield Excavating now a Trencor Authorized Dealer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mansfield Excavating Machinery is now a Trencor Authorized Dealer

Mansfield Excavating Machinery in Alvarado, Tex. is now an official sales, rental, and service source for Trencor heavy-duty trenchers and parts.

The Trencor line includes high-performance rock trenchers, surface miners, road miners, and related equipment.  Trencor has more than 60 years of experience in the highly specialized trenching industry, serving the construction and oil and gas markets. Manufactured at the company headquarters in Loudon, Tenn., the Trencor line-up includes six different trencher models that can be configured to meet custom applications.

Mansfield Excavating Machinery, located at 3445 South I-35 West , will provide the tough Trencor trenchers and related parts and service to customers throughout the Southwest, including Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Louisiana, Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.  The company serves the gas pipeline industry and general construction customers, providing sales and leasing options, as well as parts and service. The company has two service trucks devoted to the business and is adding a third one in the near future.

“We’re pleased to have Mansfield Excavating Machinery as part of the Trencor team,” says Chris Alexander, Trencor sales manager.  “Their knowledge of the industry and devotion to customer service provides Trencor with an important focus for the Texas and Southwest markets.  Their rental purchase and rent-prior-to-purchase plans meet the demands of the market.  And we’re happy to have such a proven and experienced partner in the underground construction and pipeline industries.

Established in 2004 by owners Ray and Myrna Wood, Mansfield Excavating Machinery has assembled a team of approximately 35 employees with valuable experience in the industry. Norm Stinson, a veteran with more than 35 years of general construction background heads up the group as president.  Other key employees include Daniel Baucom, chief financial officer and general counsel; Jim Holley, operations manager; Mickey Zaunbrecher, international and special projects; Donnie Unger, Central Texas sales and field services representative; Jerry Nalls, pipeline specialist; Frank Cumnock, sales representative for East Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas; and Mike Gaston, service manager.

“We’re fortunate to have the team we have in place,” says Stinson.  “They understand firsthand the mechanics of the equipment and the industry, and they also are familiar with the people within the market.  It would be hard to match the depth of our employees’ experience.”

Likewise, Stinson feels the match with the Trencor team gives his firm an additional competitive advantage.

“We believe we have a real partner in Trencor—someone who is anxious for us to succeed,” says Stinson.  “We’re already seeing the benefit of that give-and-take relationship as the factory has sought our input on important design and engineering details.  We take our comments from customers seriously, and we’re happy to share those ideas with Trencor to help us build a better product together.”
